Dominican man in Massachusetts arrested for allegedly dealing fentanyl pills, 2-year-old overdosed at his home

A Dominican national has been charged with allegedly dealing hundreds of pills according to the feds who say a -year-old overdosed at his Bay State home Meanwhile another Dominican national has been indicted by a Boston federal grand jury for allegedly distributing fentanyl pills while on federal supervised release for a prior drug trafficking conviction The first affair involves -year-old Jose Radhame Sanchez who was charged by the Massachusetts U S Attorney s Office with conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances Sanchez allegedly sold suspected fentanyl pills to a cooperating source last month On April in Lawrence Sanchez allegedly distributed about suspected fentanyl pills pressed to resemble milligram oxycodone pills He allegedly had a minor child with him in the car during the drug deal Then on April Sanchez allegedly dealt counterfeit oxycodone pills suspected to contain fentanyl at a restaurant in Methuen Also last year two suspected overdose casualties were uncovered in Sanchez s Haverhill residence Last February police located a female who had overdosed at the residence The female victim survived Although Sanchez stated police at the time that he had ascertained the victim on the side of the road in his neighborhood and allowed her into his home and denied having knowledge that the female was a drug user contemporary phone records allegedly revealed that Sanchez had contacted the victim times in less than a week this March And in another situation last year a -year-old child was discovered unresponsive and not breathing at Sanchez s residence According to court documents the child later tested positive for fentanyl and cocaine Sanchez also allegedly tested positive for cocaine at the time The child survived The grand jury episode involves Wagner Ismael Mejia Sanchez a k a Jose F Rosario a k a Jose Majimbe who was indicted on one count of distribution of and possession with intent to distribute grams or more of fentanyl In Mejia Sanchez was among individuals charged by the U S Attorney s Office in connection with a cocaine and heroin trafficking conspiracy He pleaded guilty to his role in the conspiracy and in he was sentenced to months in prison and years of supervised release Related Articles Editorial Fentanyl dealers face deadly consequences in GOP bill ICE preparing for second surge in arrests in Greater Boston Previously deported migrant who lives in Massachusetts arrested in big fentanyl bust Editorial We want Tom Homan to fixate on crime in Massachusetts Massachusetts police make big fentanyl bust arrest convicted drug dealer Then earlier this year during an review into a drug trafficking organization Mejia Sanchez was allegedly identified as a drug supplier who provided fentanyl pills to a distributor He was also allegedly seen engaging in suspected hand-to-hand drug transactions Law enforcement then allegedly arranged for a purchase from Mejia Sanchez on Feb in Lawrence during which he allegedly dealt fentanyl pills while on federal supervised release
